The development of GEZGİN Missile gained momentum with SOM ALCM and ATMACA Projects. UGM / RGM / BGM-109 Tomahawk Navigation Missile is expected to have similar capabilities GEZGİN National Navigation Missile SOM-B1 / B2 ALCM is expected to benefit from the technologies contained in the missile. SOM will be powered by a turbojet engine as in the GEZGİN ’SCALP Naval Navigation Missile [NCM] acak which will have a larger and heavier body and more fuel capacity than ALCM. GEZGİN will have a cylindrical body structure for disposability from land / surface and underwater platforms.
